We are pleased to share some highlights from the "From Proposal to Award: Mastering Internal & External Grant Workshop", held on 17 August 2026 at the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS).

GHG COP Lead Verifier Training 2026! 🌱

This programme is jointly organised by the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) in support of the Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD), UTS.

Participants will learn to:

1. Analyse grant requirements and align research ideas with funding priorities and evaluation criteria.
2. Develop a competitive research proposal with clear objectives, methodology, expected impact, and strong justification.
3. Prepare a compliant and realistic research budget with proper financial justification.

⚡ Wireman G1 Session No. 5/2026 – Practical Training (Week 1)

We are pleased to share the highlights from the first week of the Wireman G1 Practical Training held at the CEPD Centre, Jalan Wawasan, Sibu.

This session brings together UTS Electrical Engineering students and Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) staff, providing a valuable platform to exchange knowledge, enhance practical skills, and learn from one another's experiences.

At UTS, our students graduate not only with a Bachelor's Degree but also have the opportunity to earn the Wireman Competency Certificate certified by the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunications Sarawak (MUT), preparing them to become competent and industry-ready professionals.
