[SALAM ISRA’ MIKRAJ 1443H/2022]

Assalamualaikum w.b.t and Good Day to everyone. We here at UUM INTAFF SOCIETY would like to invite every Muslim and all friends to remember one of the holiest days in Islam called Isra’ Mikraj. Isra’ Mikraj is a ceremonial day where Prophet Muhammad PBUH went through physical and spiritual journey from Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque and ascends into heaven. This date also gave our Prophet the 5 times prayer instructions.

Tired, forsaken and wounded, Prophet Muhammad PBUH faith in Allah was never shaken, although the challenges were unbearable. Instead of seeking revenge, he prayed for not just the people of Taif but their descendants as well. Hence, all Muslims need to try their best to double their good deeds as a practice to reach Ramadhan, our holy months

[ON THIS DAY : 29 NOVEMBER 2021]

In occasion with global solidarity with Palestine, United Nations has come out with a significant day called International Day of Solidarity with Palestine on 29 November every year. 29 November is very significant among the global citizens and Palestinians themselves as this date commemorate of United Nations (UN) Resolution 181 (ii), which divided Palestine into Two states that we have today.

This day is very significance among Palestinian, where they will organized cultural event to celebrate it, while at UN General Assembly, usually this day they will question and debate about Palestine affairs.

Congratulations to winner of AIYC SPEECH 2021.

We are happy to announce our club representative Nurul Najiha Byrose Khan, had won 3rd place of ASEAN Speech. This is very great achievement for her manage to win 3rd place from all participate in ASEAN+3 countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and Korea.

A big congratulations too for Sheryna Putri Hamid for able to put herself top 10 out of many participants. Honorable mention to our representative Azayaka Khalida Syarifah, Ahmad Mukhsein Bin Mukhtar, Siti Adilah Balqis binti Mohd Affendy and Nurzarifah Balqis binti Zaidi for your enthusiasm and hard work.

Congratulations to winner of AIYC QUIZ 2021.

We are happy to announce our club representative Muhammad Farhan Daniel bin Badrol Hisham and Muhammad Haizzat Syahril bin Mohd Shudi had won 1st place of ASEAN Quiz. This is very great achievement for them manage to win 1st place out of 240 participants in all ASEAN+3 countries.

A big congratulations too for Siew Si Key and Jachintha Joyce A/P Devasagayam Jayakumar for able to put themselves top 12 out of 240 participants. G'Day everyone, once again we meet in another series of Flag Friday. Today, we will bring everyone to an only country that big enough to be a continent, a country that synonymous with kangaroos and of course, it is not other than Australia.

Australia flag has three elements on a blue background: Commonwealth Star, Southern Cross and Union Jack

Union Jack represents the history of British settlement, Commonwealth star represents the six states and territories of Australia, while Southern Cross is a reminder of Australia's Geography.
