Monash Motorsport Malaysia Formula SAE Team from Monash University Malaysia

Monash Motorsport Malaysia provides a great opportunity for students to be creative and innovative in designing, testing and building a race car to compete in the Formula SAE ASEAN competition. It was started by a group of diligent young students from Monash Malaysia's School of Engineering who are passionate about the automotive industry. With the use of CAD (Computer Aid Design) Software, students are able to work in a team and together learn the skills which will be useful in the industry. Monash Motorsport Malaysia aims to cultivate young, innovative and creative engineers, hence students will have their skills and determination pushed past their breaking point as we aim to present our most excellent design.

TSAE 2027 is getting closer and so are we.

Behind the scenes, our team is pushing hard to develop, refine, and improve every part of our race car. From engineering concepts to hands-on fabrication, testing, and continuous iteration, every day brings us one step closer to the car we want to put on track. There’s still a long way to go, but every challenge is another opportunity to build better.

The work doesn’t stop. The countdown does. TSAE 2027, we’re coming for it.

What keeps the car together when everything else is pushing it to the limit? Take a closer look at the chassis of our M3-E3 car, the backbone of the entire vehicle.

Designed to balance strength, rigidity, weight, and safety, the chassis forms the foundation that supports every system on the car, while giving our driver the confidence to push performance to the limit.

We were honoured to welcome the Honourable Julian Hill MP, Australia’s Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs and Assistant Minister for International Education, alongside HE Danielle Heinecke, High Commissioner during Engineering Information (ENI) Week at Monash University Malaysia.

It was a privilege to showcase our team's work, share our journey in FSAE, and highlight how our team provides a platform for students to innovate, collaborate, and push the boundaries of motorsport engineering. 🏎‍🟀
