Sunway TES Centre for Accountancy (CAE) was incorporated in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Sunway Education Group. We conduct internationally renowned professional accounting programmes such as:

• The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
• ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA)
• Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
• Certificate in Finance, Accounting

and Business (CFAB)

Established to promote excellence in accounting training in Malaysia, Sunway TES CAE is a multilevel collaborative initiative between Sunway TES CAE and its strategic partners which include professional accounting bodies (ACCA, ICAEW), global and local professional accounting firms, public institutions of higher education and large corporations. Sunway TES CAE has been recognised as a key player amongst learning providers of professional accounting and financial programmes, a status recognised not only in Malaysia but also in the region. As a prestigious accounting provider, Sunway TES CAE plays a vital role in the growth and progress of the accounting profession in Malaysia. In 2013, Sunway TES CAE was selected by the Malaysian government for this first-of-its-kind public-private partnership with the specific focus on accountancy and financial programmes. The centre offers internationally renowned professional accounting programmes with three key objectives:

Today, we had the distinct privilege of welcoming our esteemed alumni back to Sunway University for an engaging afternoon of reconnection with peers and lecturers.

The highlight of the gathering was an insightful forum dedicated to exploring how professional qualifications can elevate one's career trajectory. We were honoured to have Prof Teo Ee Sing, Managing Director of Sunway College, serve as the moderator.

The panel featured comprehensive, experience-driven discussions led by our academic staff, all of whom hold professional qualifications themselves:
• Mr Dinesh R. – ACCA Senior Lecturer
• Mr Ivan Chew Cheng Yi – ICAEW Lecturer
• Ms Monnie Goh – CPA & MICPA Lecturer
• Ms Fong Yen Foon – CFP Senior Lecturer
• Mr Teng Yue Xiang – CFA Lecturer

The event officially commenced with a warm welcoming address delivered by Dr Stella Ong. Additionally, we were pleased to host representatives from various professional bodies who set up dedicated booths to provide personalised consultations for both alumni and current students.

This momentous occasion was proudly organised by the Sunway TES Centre for Accountancy Excellence, Sunway University Business School, Victoria University, and Sunway Alumni.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. We wish you the very best in all your future professional endeavours.
