Planning your next step in the UK? 🎓

Sheffield Hallam offers a range of scholarship opportunities for eligible international students, including:

• Vice-Chancellor’s Award — an automatic tuition bursary of up to £4,000 towards first-year tuition fees for eligible self-financing South East Asian students. To be eligible, students must be starting their first full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam. There is no separate application required, eligible students are automatically considered, and the award will be reflected in their offer letter.

• Transform Together Scholarship — 50% tuition-fee waiver for high-achieving, self-financing students with an offer for an eligible full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course, to the first year only. Applicants are assessed on academic achievement and their potential to represent Sheffield Hallam as an ambassador. Academic and English requirements apply.

• Commonwealth Shared Scholarship — fully funded postgraduate support for students from eligible Commonwealth countries. Applicants must meet Commonwealth Scholarship Commission requirements and be applying for an eligible course. The scholarship is designed for students who may otherwise struggle to afford UK study, and applicants should demonstrate how their studies could contribute to the development of their home country.

• Chevening Scholarship — UK Government-funded support for one-year master’s students from Chevening-eligible countries. Applicants need an undergraduate degree, relevant work experience and must meet the programme’s leadership and other eligibility requirements. Applicants should be high-calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership. Recipients must return to their country of award after completing their studies.

Eligibility, availability and funding coverage vary by scholarship and year. Awards are subject to meeting all academic and programme requirements.

Explore your options and find out more about funding your Sheffield Hallam journey.
