Taylor's Korean Student Society conducted a workshop in that is organized by 's Community on 10th September at Taylor's University Lakeside campus.

During the event, 14 children aged 9-15 years old from the undeserved communities participated the workshop. They played several Korean traditional games such as jegi 제기, gong-gi 공기, ddakji 딱지, and sang a K-pop song together. Interestingly, most of them know how to play the Korean version of 'Red light, green light' 무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 (thanks to Squid Game!). Now here we have three winners of poster presentation! 👏 We are extremely glad that the participants could learn about Korean culture and experience the piece of it with us!

지난 9월 10일 테일러스 한인회가 Taylor's Community가 진행한 Asian Fusion 이벤트에 참여해 워크샵을 진행했습니다. 말레이시아 취약계층 어린이들을 대상으로 한국의 전통 게임을 소개하고 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공한 뜻깊은 행사였습니다. 어린들이 워크샵에서 배운 내용으로 포스터를 만들었는데 한국에 대해 좀 더 알게 된 것 같아 보람을 느낍니다.

Taylor's University Korean Society is taking part in both events, 2019 Changwon K-pop World Festival and 2019 Quiz On Korea, as a part of organizing committee.

For K-pop World Festival, you can enjoy exciting performances, food tasting and other booths related to K-pop, K-beauty and Korean foods during the event.

Dear all Korean students at Taylor's and supporters,

I would like invite you to be a part of our first Korean Cultural Exchange Project with Taylor's Community. This project is for few groups of children at some local community organizations which work in a partnership with Taylor's Community. I particularly want to encourage the Korean students at Taylor's to take this opportunity to have real and practical contact with local society during your time of living in Malaysia. We will collaborate with other Taylor's students who know basic Korean in order to create more diverse, cheerful and meaningful environment for the children and for you. Please feel free to contact me for clarification and information. I expect many of you are responding and gaining an unique experience in your University life.
