As students we are used to learning a lot of medical theory, but we all know that medicine is not just about this and that being a good practitioner means managing to successfully combine theory with practice. That is why we want to offer you a wide range of highly engaging workshops - to help you learn the basic, intermediate and advanced procedures. Whether you are a hard-core surgery fan or just want to see if a surgical specialization is right for you, you will definitely find a workshop that is fit for you!

We are preparing more than 40 hands-on surgical workshops in fields of 13 Surgical and Surgical-related Specialties, such as:
General Surgery
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Cardiovascular Surgery
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Orthopedics and Traumatology
Neurosurgery
Ophthalmic Surgery
Thoracic Surgery
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Otolaryngology
Urology
Microsurgery and
Interventional Radiology

During the workshops, the knowledge is accumulated in a step by step manner, demonstrating the information taught both in theory and live, being a continuous interactive hands-on experience. Those 40 workshops are categorized in 3 levels - Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. You may begin by becoming familiar with the main surgical instruments and their use, focusing on the specific ones for different surgical specialties and practice elementary surgical procedures - incisions, types of knot tying and sutures.

If you already know the “Basics” and then you will certainly be mesmerized - we have an Intermediate workshop for almost every surgical specialty! You may therefore continue to get acquainted with arteriotomies, angioplasties, colon surgery, intestinal and vascular anastomoses in the next level workshops. We will be organizing specialised workshops that will teach you the skills to perform some of the most frequent procedures in plastic surgery, tendon and nerve reconstruction, cardiovascular surgery, indispensable maneuvers in obstetrics and gynaecology, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmic surgery, orthopaedics and many more.

However, if you master both Basic and Intermediate level workshops, don’t worry - we have a whole batch of Advanced courses specifically designed for the experts! It includes microsurgery, coronary bypass and organ transplantation.
