The Centre for Educational Services, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, comprises of the Pre-Degree and JUPEB programme. The Pre-degree program is aimed at preparing students for admission into the courses of their choice. Admission into a chosen course of study at AE-FUNAI CES through the Pre-degree is exclusively dependent on the candidate’s good performance at the Pre-degree program, the possessi
on of an acceptable current JAMB score and possession of the basic 5 O’ Level credits relevant to the chosen of course. The JUPEB programme, which is of the acronym Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, It is an Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level programme moderated by the University of Lagos and having coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different study centres nationwide. The JUPEB programme is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities for one reason or the other. Students who sit for the JUPEB programme do not need JAMB, and if successful, get admitted into 200 level in AE-FUNAI or any JUPEB-affiliated university in Nigeria and abroad.
