It wasn’t just a workshop… it was two days of real learning, shared experiences, and practical strategies that participants can actually use.

The CVCTI 2026 Research Workshop on International Grantsmanship brought together incredible minds and experienced facilitators who delivered powerful sessions:

Dr Gift Kimongo Dzombo guided participants through global grant compliance standards (GFGP)
Prof. Sati U. Fwatshak unpacked what it really takes to write winning proposals
Dr. John Samson Bimba shared practical, real-life insights into securing research grants
Dr. Salihu Girei Bakari who was represented by Prof. Hayward Mafuyai, explored funding opportunities across national and international ecosystems
Mrs Joy Ambrose Ezirim highlighted how visibility and digital presence can boost research impact

With opening contributions from Prof. Andrew Haruna and Mr Kenneth Ogujie, the workshop set a strong tone for what turned out to be an engaging and impactful experience.

From grant writing to partnerships, from funding strategies to global visibility, every session was designed to move research forward.

And beyond the sessions? The connections, conversations, and collaborations that started here are just the beginning.
