That question was at the heart of a lively mini debate among secondary school students on whether Taxation should be introduced as a subject in their school curriculum.

The debate was more than a competition—it was an opportunity to spark curiosity, build awareness, and encourage young minds to think about the role taxation plays in national development and responsible citizenship.

At Tax Club, University of Abuja, we are passionate about raising a generation that understands taxation beyond paying taxes. We believe that exposing young people to tax education early will help nurture informed citizens, future policymakers, tax professionals, and ethical leaders.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Tax Ombuds for their continued support and commitment to promoting tax awareness and taxpayer education.

Your presence at our symposium, through your esteemed representative "Timothy Onechojon USMAN", added immense value to the event. 📌TAXCLUB UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA HIGHLIGHTS AT THE CITN NATIONAL TAX AWARENESS DAY📌

The Taxclub University of Abuja was present at the CITN national tax awareness in which Abuja awareness took place at the WUSE market Abuja where traders, buyers (consumers) and others were enlightened about the effect of the new tax law. Some persons were nonchalant to hear from tax men directly while some did listened to be educated on what taxes they are to pay, when to pay and to whom to pay.

It was a successful walk and educative one✅💯🎉.

The Taxclub University of Abuja was present at the CITN national tax awareness day that was held at the WUSE market to sensitise the traders about the need to be tax compliant, procedures on how to get their TIN number and What taxes they would be paying. It was indeed a productive day 💯💯.
