If you keep opening CAPS and seeing “In Progress”, “Not Offered”, “Offered” or “Not Admitted”, don't panic. Each status means something different.

🟢 OFFERED — Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve been offered admission. You can Accept or Reject the offer.

🟡 IN PROGRESS — Your admission is still being processed. Keep calm and keep checking.

🔴 NOT ADMITTED — Don't conclude that admission is over. Check your O’Level upload and continue monitoring your CAPS.

🔵 NOT OFFERED — You may still be considered. Admissions are released in batches, so keep checking.

✅ APPROVED — Your admission has been approved. Proceed with the necessary steps and print your admission documents where applicable.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT: Once you accept an admission offer on CAPS, the decision is FINAL. Make sure you are certain before clicking accept.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗦

Getting an admission offer is only half the process. Your admission is not final until you officially respond to it on JAMB CAPS. If you fail to respond within the given timeline, the offer will be cancelled and given to another candidate.

Before you start, have your JAMB e-Facility email and password, and your registration number ready. Use a device with stable internet. If you're on mobile, switch your browser to "Desktop Site" mode, as the CAPS buttons may not display properly otherwise.

Steps to respond:
1. Log in to the JAMB e-Facility Portal
2. Click "Check Admission Status" on your dashboard
3. Select your exam year, confirm your reg number, and click "Access My CAPS"
4. Click "Admission Status" on the left sidebar
5. If offered admission, click "Accept" or "Reject" and confirm your choice

Know your status: Offered Admission means your offer is ready. Admission in Progress or Recommended means be patient, no action needed yet. Not Admitted means check that your O'Level results are uploaded. Transfer Approval means a different course is being offered, review it fast. Approved means your acceptance is processed and you can print your documents.

If you accept, your profile is locked to that institution for the session and you can proceed to pay your acceptance fee. If you reject, the offer returns to the school and your profile becomes available to other institutions.

Accepting cannot be reversed, so be certain before you click. Before rejecting, check the JAMB brochure to confirm your other choices still have open slots.

After accepting, print your JAMB Admission Letter and Original UTME Result Slip. You'll need both for screening and clearance at your institution.

Here are some of the major dates you need to take note of:

📅 10th August, 2026 — ND I students begin their 4-month Industrial Training (I.T.)

📅 13th September, 2026 — New Students Resume

📅 20th September, 2026 — Old Students Resume

📅 21st September, 2026 — Lectures Begin for All Students

📅 30th September, 2026 — Lectures begin for ND II students returning from Industrial Training

📅 7th December, 2026 — Mid-Semester Test

📅 16th–17th December, 2026 — Orientation Programme for New Students

📅 18th December, 2026— Mid-Semester/Christmas Break

📅 3rd January, 2027 — Students Resume for continuation of the First Semester

🚨 BREAKING: MTN Nigeria Invests ₦1.6 Trillion To Improve Call Experience
MTN Nigeria says it has invested more than ₦1.6 trillion in network expansion and upgrades between January 2025 and June 2026 to improve connectivity and service quality across the country.
The investment is aimed at expanding network capacity, strengthening infrastructure and delivering a more reliable call and data experience as demand for digital services continues to rise.
MTN’s CFO, Modupe Kadri, said the company’s network investments are necessary to keep pace with rapidly growing demand from Nigerians.

All National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Candidates who applied to Auchi Polytechnic for 2026/27 academic year are hereby informed to upload their Ordinary Level Certifcate/Statement of result , as well as other required documents appropriately, through the Links provided on the Application dash board as the documents will be used to determine eligibility.

Attention :National Diploma (ND) Candidates,

Please note that, in addition to the required documents, the PIN on your WAEC/NECO scratch card should also be filled into your application form during the application process. Kindly ensure that the PIN is clearly provided to facilitate the verification of your examination results. Applicants who refuse to comply will not be considered for admission.
