‎Subject: URGENT APPEAL FOR THE REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF TRANSFORMER IN POLCHIN KANAWA, TORO LGA, BAUCHI STATE

‎ Your Excellency,
‎ Distinguished Chairman,
‎
‎We write on behalf of the good people of Polchin Kanawa Community, Toro Local Government Area, Bauchi State, to respectfully draw your attention to the power outage affecting our community due to a faulty transformer.
‎
‎ The Problem
‎The only transformer serving Polchin Kanawa has been down for several weeks. Since then, the entire community has been in total darkness.
‎
‎ The Impact on Our People
‎1. Education: Students can no longer study at night. Schools are struggling to function effectively.
‎2. Businesses: Small businesses, grinding mills, cold rooms, and phone charging points have all shut down. Many people have lost their means of livelihood.
‎3. Health: The health center cannot operate basic equipment. Storage of drugs and emergency services are at risk.
‎4. Security: The darkness at night has increased the risk of theft and insecurity.
‎
‎Polchin Kanawa is a growing community that contributes to the economy and peace of Toro LGA. This blackout is reversing all progress.
‎
‎ Our Humble Request
‎We passionately appeal to you to urgently intervene by either:
‎1. Replacing the faulty transformer with a new one, or
‎2. Repairing the existing transformer immediately
‎
‎We are ready to mobilize community support and provide any assistance needed to make this possible.
‎
‎We trust in your commitment to the welfare of the people of Bauchi State. We believe that restoring power to Polchin Kanawa will greatly improve education, health, security, and economic activities in our area.
