1️⃣ Introduction
The Apostolic Church Nigeria, together with family, friends, students, and sympathizers, gathered on Thursday, 19th September 2025 at Akpan Ekpe, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, for the Celebration of Life and Homegoing Service of our dearly beloved brother, Asst. Pastor Liberty Michael Essien.
A devoted BA1 student, faithful minister, and humble servant of God, Pastor Liberty Michael left behind a legacy of quiet strength, loyalty, and passion for the Gospel. The ceremony reflected both the pain of loss and the hope of eternal life promised in Christ.

The funeral service followed a simple but dignified sequence:

Attendance & Atmosphere
The turnout was impressive, featuring ministers, seminary students, church members, and community residents. The atmosphere was reverent yet hopeful, with heartfelt tributes celebrating Pastor Liberty Michael’s devotion, humility, and service to the Church.
Interment and Graveside Moments
A solemn procession led to the graveside, where final prayers were offered, and the body of the late minister was laid to rest. The hymn “Jesus Still Lead On Till the Rest Is Won” echoed through the crowd, affirming faith in Christ’s promise of resurrection and eternal rest.
