YOBE ASSEMBLY CONFIRMED THE APPOITMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT CARETAKER MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES
Yobe state House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of the nominees as chairmen and members of the local government caretaker management committees to run the affairs of the local governments for the period of six months
The leader of the House Hon, Bukar Mustapha moved the motion seeking for the confirmation of the nominees which was presented by the executive arm of government following the expiration of tenure of the elected chairmen of the local governments
Those confirmed as local government caretaker committee chairmen are Alhaji Ibrahim Babagana Bade, Lawan Bukar Bursari, Bukar Adamu Damaturu, Hajiya Halima Kyari joda Fika, Baba Goni Mustapha Fune ,Ali Kolo Kachalla Geidam, Dala Mala Gujba, Dayyabu Ilu Gulani, Abdullahi Ahmed Garba, Jakusko and Lawan Alhaji Gana Karasuwa
Others are Bukar A Bukar Machina, Alhaji Salisu Yerima Nangere, Alhaji Modu Kachalla Nguru , Salisu Muktari Potiskum, Mohammed Lamido Musa Tarmuwa, Dauda Bukar Yunusari and Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim Yusufari
Presiding over the sitting, the speaker of the House Rt Hon, Ahmed Lawan Mirwa called on the confirmed nominees to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them towards development of the local government areas
