NNC UMUOGBOAGU RECEIVES FULL LICENSE & APPROVAL
Yesterday, at the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Enugu State*, and the Director-General, Center for Experiential Learning and Innovation - CELI, Enugu, I received two major certificates of honor on behalf of New Nigeria College, NNC Umuogboagu:
1. Offer of Full Basic Education License
2. Two-Year Provisional Approval for Senior Secondary School
This comes in addition to the Approval of New Nigeria Primary School, NNPS Umuogboagu* granted in August 2023.
Recall:
On June 27th, 2026, a team of inspectors from the Quality Assurance Department, Ministry of Education, Enugu State* visited our school.
They assessed our curriculum, teaching staff, school buildings, laboratory, library, classrooms, and overall teaching standards.
Their report confirmed that:
1. The school has met the minimum standards for licensing at the Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels.
2. We have highly qualified teachers and maintain a high standard of education.
3. We provide a conducive learning environment.
4. The School Proprietor and Management are committed to raising the standard of education in Nigeria.
Based on this excellent report, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof.Ndubueze L. Mbah,Ph.D has approved that, effective yesterday:
1. NNC Umuogboagu now holds a full and complete license to present pupils for the First School Leaving Certificate Examination.
2. We are also approved to present students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination - BECE, also known as Junior WAEC.
3. Within the next two years, our current SS1 students will be presented for WAEC.
This is a monumental milestone for our school.
We appreciate our grand patron, Chief Dr.Olisaemeka ugwunze ,Nwezechimereeze 1 of Ezike for his support for the school and to every other person whose efforts, time , money etc paved way for this height,we say, thank you all and God bless you.
