The International Institute of Hospitality and Management Professional (IIHMP) is the global association of hospitality and Management Professionals in the business. IIHMP is one of the largest organizations dedicated exclusively to promoting the profession in this industry. IIHMP is devoted to strengthening leadership skills of members to help advance their careers the industries.
The IIHMP is designed to show ability, knowledge, and experience, within the hospitality and Management profession. Professionals and practitioners who belong to Hospitality and Management are invited to be part of IIHMP’s global advocacy of promoting excellence in the practice of the profession.
The International Institute of Hospitality and Management Professional (IIHMP) is a Higher, vocational and tertiary level professional organization, established to furnish the industry with professional personnel who can provide good quality standard of products and services.
The Institute is a Professional Awarding body for the Airline, Airport, Hotel, Hospitality, Food Safety, Travel Tourism, Industrial Psychology and Management Occupations etc.
Furthermore, the Institute is a certification body for personnel involved in grading, classification, and quality assurance certification programs for Hotel, Tourism and Hospitality Establishments, and an awarding body, Operating Food Safety and Food Protection Certification Programs.

• To provide accreditation, education, and certification in all branches of Hospitality, Psychology, thought, philosophy or endeavor and provide for the giving and holding of lectures, Inductions, scholarships, exhibitions, meetings and classes for the promotion and advancement of vocational and academic education and research studies.
• To provide Continuous Professional Development, Commercial and Industrial training for Employment, whether general, technical or professional.
• To provide for the examination assessment and certification of individuals receiving instruction through organization either by its own examiners or by outside boards of examiners or public or educational, validating, accreditation, assessing, professionals and learned bodies.

Become a IIHMP
The Hospitality, and Management Professionals (HMP) is a globally recognized credential in the marketplace as the most relevant qualification for a career in hospitality and Management profession. The certification ensures that its members and candidate understands how the business of Hospitality and Management operates, how the business is managed, how the industry functions how strategy is developed and has the skills to undertake any challenging business situations faced in the industry today.
The certification also helps the candidate understand the economics of Hospitality and Management operations, to manage performance and to manage risk.
Taking the HMP certification Programs prepares the candidate more than the technical skills required for the job, it also teaches skills in management and leadership. HMP holders are recognized for the long experience in the hospitality and Management industry than other professionals working in the related field.
To earn the HMP designation, a candidate must need to accomplish the assessment provided by the HMP Body of Knowledge. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• University graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related course from an accredited university or college.
• If not university graduate of Hospitality degree, a candidate must complete a minimum 120 hours of HMP executive course
• Minimum 250 hours in hospitality work experience
• Two references from work supervisor, university registrar or HMP member
• Signed IIHMP Professional Code of Conduct
