LAWSAN NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT 2ND VISITS TO GOMBE STATE UNIVERSITY, COMMISSIONS SCALE OF JUSTICE & PRESENTS SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TO STUDENTS
On Monday, the 15th day of May, 2023, the National LAWSAN Vice President, Her Excellency, AGOGO FLORENCE, OOL (Zinariyan Gwallameji Bauchi) paid an official visit to the prestigious Faculty of Law, Gombe State University.
After a rousing reception and welcome by the leadership of the Chapter;
1. The National Vice President proceeded first to the Office of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Umar Aliyu El-Nafaty where she was warmly received and had a robust meeting and interaction with him and other critical members of the University's management. Among other things, the Vice Chancellor applauded and commended the National Vice President for all the outstanding and remarkable feats she has recorded throughout her stay in Office. He particularly expressed his delight and gratitude to Her Excellency for finding his institution worthy of her kind gesture and acts of philanthropism, stating that the very essence of Leadership is to impact positively on the lives of the people being led and the National Vice President has embodied this virtue in entirety.
2. After the visit to the Vice Chancellor, the National Vice President proceeded to the Faculty of Law building where she was warmly received by Staff, Lecturers, the Students' Representative Council and LAWSANites of the Chapter. She held an interactive session with the Students and other persons present and she apprised them of the strides her office has recorded so far and the other existing plans her Office has towards the growth and development of LAWSAN and LAWSANites. She concluded the session by presenting scholarship awards to ten (10) distinguished LAWSANites in the Chapter as part of the fulfilment of her promises to the Chapter during her last visit.
3. The visit was culminated by the official commissioning of the SCALE OF JUSTICE donated to the Faculty by the National Vice President and this was done in the presence of the Leadership of the Faculty, Staff and LAWSANites.
Her Excellency wishes to restate her commitment and resolve towards upping the standards for a greater and progressive LAWSAN.

We extend our profound gratitude to Her Excellency, Florence Agogo , for gracing our illustrious event with her esteemed presence and for her invaluable contributions which played an indelible role in the resounding success of the day. The commissioning of the "Scale of Justice" shall forever stand as an enduring emblem, a testament to the principles of impartiality and equanimity that serve as the bedrock of justice within our Faculty of Law. Our hearts overflow with immense appreciation for the munificent gesture extended by Her Excellency, who, through her noble philanthropy, exhibits an unwavering commitment to the advancement and flourishing of legal education within the hallowed corridors of our beloved university.
We wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University for his magnanimity in granting us permission to utilize the university's facilities and for providing unwavering support throughout the event. We are profoundly grateful for the gratuitous release of the university bus, which facilitated the seamless transportation of our guests to and from the venue. Moreover, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Vice-Chancellor for generously allocating his precious time to receive and host Her Excellency in his opulent office, thus exemplifying his unwavering dedication to fostering an environment conducive to intellectual discourse and academic enlightenment.
Our heartfelt appreciation also extends to the Department of Students Affairs, as well as the Deanery of the Faculty of Law. We are profoundly grateful for their unwavering support and unflagging cooperation throughout the meticulous planning and flawless ex*****on of this momentous event. Their resolute dedication to the success of LAWSAN's noble initiatives is truly commendable, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their continuous and invaluable support.
We would be remiss if we did not convey our deepest appreciation to our revered staff adviser, as well as the erudite and indefatigable academic and non-academic staff of our Faculty of Law. Their guidance, erudite expertise, and unwavering support have proven to be pivotal in propelling the triumphant trajectory of our association. We are profoundly grateful for their unwavering commitment to our personal and professional growth as aspiring legal luminaries.
We extend our profound appreciation to the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) and the National Government Officers of the Gombe State Student Association (GOSSA). Their august presence and unwavering support during the event were invaluable and served as a shining beacon illuminating the path toward the collective welfare and progress of the cherished student community.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our potential LAWSANites of our chapter, and other erudite students hailing from various faculties who graced the occasion with their presence, thereby showcasing their unwavering solidarity with LAWSA-GSU!
