The delegation was subsequently received at the Vice Chancellor’s Office by the Vice Chancellor alongside the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Danladi Muhammed Umar.
During the visit, the Oba Yoruba of Gombe commended the Management of the University for the numerous opportunities and responsibilities entrusted to members of the Yoruba community within the institution. He acknowledged the enormous contributions, dedication, and hard work of members of the Yoruba community towards the growth and development of the University.
The Vice Chancellor particularly highlighted the exceptional dedication and invaluable contributions of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Professor Rashid Abdulganiy, describing him as a highly committed and outstanding member of staff whose contributions have continued to add immense value to the institution.
