DE POTTER COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY today welcomed a delegation from the Department of Tertiary Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oke-Mosan, Ogun State, on a courtesy visit to the College.

The delegation, led by the Director,Mr. C. I. Adebayo, was warmly received by the Provost/C.E.O,Dr. Adeware O.G., and members of the College Management Team.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement, strengthening communication and fostering a stronger relationship between the Ministry and the College.

We appreciate the delegation for the visit and look forward to continued collaboration towards the advancement of quality tertiary education.

NAHIMS NATIONAL & SOUTHWEST ZONAL LEADERSHIP VISIT

De Potter College of Health Technology, Oru-Ijebu, warmly received the NAHIMS(National Association of Health Information Management Students)National Headquarters and Southwest Zonal Leadership ably led by Comrade Adedayo Mayowa Emmanuel alongside the southwest President Comrade Ike Ekene on a walk-in familiarization visit on 16th September 2026.

The delegation, led by the NAHIMS National Headquarters and Southwest Zonal Leadership, paid a courtesy visit to the College Provost/C.E.O, Dr. Adeware O.G., and engaged with the Registrar, Dr. Femi Kayode, PRO, Miss Offor Comfort, HOD Health Information Management, Miss Adewuyi Mary Erioluwa, and student representatives.

The team toured key facilities across the College, including the Health Information Management Department, ICT Room, Demonstration Room, Clinic, Hostels, Lecture Rooms and Sports Complex, and commended the College Management for its structured environment, facilities and commitment to students’ academic and professional development.

We sincerely appreciate NAHIMS for the visit, commendation and commitment to student welfare, advocacy and professional development. We look forward to stronger collaboration in advancing Health Information Management education.

Day Two of our Freshers’ Orientation Programme was filled with insightful lectures, meaningful interactions, and inspiring moments.

We were privileged to have two distinguished guest speakers, Amb Olajide Osiberu and Dr. Akhere Marian Akran, who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights with our freshers.

The students were fully engaged and clearly enjoyed both sessions, making Day Two another memorable part of their orientation experience.
