Genesis 38:6-10

6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn,
and her name was Tamar.
7 But Er,
Judah’s firstborn,
was wicked in the sight of the LORD,
and the LORD put him to death.
8 Then Judah said to Onan,
“Go in to your brother’s wife and perform the duty of a brother-in-law to her,
and raise up offspring for your brother.”
9 But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his.
So whenever he went in to his brother’s wife he would waste the semen on the ground,
so as not to give offspring to his brother.
Q1. DO PARENTS IN OUR WORLD TODAY STILL CHOOSE PARTNERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN?
Q2. DO GOD STILL PUNISH OR KILL MEN THAT WASTE SEMENS ON THE GROUND TODAY?

REMEMBER THAT BEFORE GOD WHAT IS NOT GOOD IS NOT GOOD NO MATTER HOW YOU PAINT THE SIN TO BE GOOD.

TATTOO
LET'S CONSIDER THIS IMPORTANT TOPIC "TATTOO".
**WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THIS?
** IS IT GOOD OR BAD TO MARK YOURSELF WITH TATTOO?

TEXT: LEVITICUS 19:28
" 'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put TATTOO marks on yourself. I am the LORD."

* Leviticus 19:28 is the only passage that talks about TATTOO very openly and we see people with the marks of tattoo today

NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST JESUS(ROMANS 8:1-11,JOHN 8:1-11).
On many occasions, people around us pass judgment on us and condemn us just because we fail to live to their expectations just as the woman caught in adultery in John 8 but the truth remains that we are all sinners before God but then we are not condemned because we are in Christ Jesus, the very LAMB OF GOD THAT TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD JOHN 1:29. How are we now in Christ? We are now in Christ in the water of baptism which Christ impute in us His righteousness that we may be acceptable before God. He condemns us not that is the more reason He came down from heaven and gave His life as a ransom for many including you. LSB 594 " God's own child I gladly say it: I am baptized into Christ! He because I could not pay it, gave my full redemption price. Do I need earth's treasure many? I have one worth more than any that bought me salvation free lasting to eternity. Satan, hear this proclamation: I am baptized into Christ! Drop your ugly accusation, I am not so soon enticed. Now that to the font I have traveled, all your might has come unraveled, and against your tyranny, God, my Lord, unites with me. "

CHRIST HAS NO ROOM FOR RACISM/DISCRIMINATION ( JOHN 4:1-25,LUKE 18:15-16,MATTHEW 19:13-15, MARK 10:13-16 ).
The Samaritan woman was trying to introduce the issue of racism to Christ which was the order of the day,(John 4:9 ) but Christ was quick enough to understand where she was heading to, and therefore proof to her that He has no room for such. Jesus at this very point in time broke that barrier of racism because He was interested in her salvation. Christ came for all including children " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these" ( Luke 18:16,Mark 10:14,Matthew 19:14). If truly we are Christians indeed why do we discriminate? Why do we value culture of the people more than the Scriptures? Think about these things and give room for repentance because Jesus loves everyone no matter where they come from Jews or Gentiles.

In the garden of Eden God always came down to communicate with Adam so it is today. God comes to us during worship not us going up to God.

In Christendom, when we talk of Baptism, what do we really mean? And why should we be baptize and to what benefits. Lastly who is to be baptize?
