ADSU VC UNVEILS TRANSFORMATIVE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN, COMMENDS GOVERNOR FINTIRI’S SUPPORT

The Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Prof. Augustine Clement, has launched a groundbreaking initiative to elevate the University’s Demonstration Primary and Secondary Schools into centers of excellence in both infrastructure and academic standards.

As part of his developmental concept, Prof. Clement spearheaded a comprehensive renovation of the schools, equipping them with state-of-the-art facilities including modern classrooms, fully equipped science laboratories, ICT centers, and well-stocked libraries. These upgrades are designed to create a conducive learning environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and holistic student development.

Beyond infrastructure, the Vice Chancellor emphasized academic excellence as a cornerstone of the initiative. His plan includes strengthening teacher training, introducing innovative teaching methodologies, and expanding extracurricular programs to ensure students receive a well-rounded education.

Prof. Clement expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support of the Visitor to the University, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Executive Governor of Adamawa State. He acknowledged that the Governor’s commitment to education and his encouragement have been instrumental in driving the success of this developmental vision. “We are grateful to His Excellency for his steadfast support. His leadership continues to inspire our efforts to make Adamawa State University’s Demonstration Schools the benchmark of academic and infrastructural excellence,” Prof. Clement stated.

In recognition of this initiative, the Principal of the Demonstration Secondary School, Mr. Julius Fidelis, and the Head Master of the Demonstration Primary School, Mr. Adams Joshep, jointly expressed their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor. They commended his foresight and dedication, noting that the transformation has already begun to inspire both staff and students.

In line with this vision, parents and guardians across Mubi and beyond are encouraged to patronize the Demonstration Schools, confident that their children will benefit from world-class facilities, quality teaching, and an environment tailored to nurture future leaders.

This initiative reflects Prof. Clement’s commitment to building strong educational foundations, ensuring that Adamawa State University not only excels in higher education but also nurtures talent from the earliest stages of learning, and also dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and contributing to the socio-economic development of Nigeria. The University’s Demonstration Schools serve as a vital link between foundational education and higher learning, embodying the institution’s mission to cultivate excellence at all levels.
