Katsina State Holds First-Ever Cultural Festival at UMYU

The Katsina State Government has organised its first-ever cultural festival as part of the First Katsina Student Week at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, bringing together Katsina indigenes studying in various tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

The event attracted student delegations from different institutions to celebrate their cultural heritage, participate in various activities, and promote unity and cooperation.

The programme was led by Hon. Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske, Special Adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Student Affairs, and attended by government officials, lecturers, and students.

The maiden festival provided a platform for students to showcase their cultural traditions, strengthen friendships, exchange ideas, and foster unity among Katsina students across the country.
