NOTIFICATICAION OF REDUCTION OF WORKING HOURS.

Following the announcement of the sighting of the moon on Tuesday 17th February,
2026 by His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto which marks the commencement of
Ramadan Fasting, I am directed to convey the approval of the Management for the
reduction of working hours in the University, to enable Muslims along the Staff to
have ample time for worship.

Azman University, Kano, today paid a courtesy visit to Bayero University, Kano. The delegation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, alongside the University Registrar, Aminu Lawal Ibrahim, and the University Librarian, Dr. Ali Garba Karaye.
The team was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Prof. Haruna Musa, who expressed his appreciation for the visit and commended Azman University for fostering institutional collaboration and strengthening academic partnerships.

Azman University and Kano State Ministry of Health Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Healthcare Education and Research

Kano, Nigeria – Azman University and the Kano State Ministry of Health today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in healthcare education, research, and development.

The partnership aims to provide practical training opportunities for students of nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, public health, and medical laboratory sciences in government hospitals. It also facilitates research and development initiatives between the university and the ministry.

The MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of Azman University, accompanied by the University Registrar and Librarian, and the Honorable Commissioner of Health, representing Kano State Ministry of Health.

This collaboration underscores Azman University's commitment to delivering industry-relevant education and contributing to the advancement of healthcare in Nigeria.
