Apply Now: Purchase JAMB and Register on the Elrazi Medical University Portal

Elrazi Medical University, Kano, invites qualified candidates from Nigeria and across the globe to apply for admission into its medical and health-related programmes by completing registration on the university admission portal.

As a specialised institution dedicated to medical and health sciences education, Elrazi Medical University provides quality training through experienced faculty, modern facilities, and a learning environment designed to produce competent healthcare professionals.

Important Admission Notice on JAMB
For Nigerian (National) Students
All Nigerian candidates seeking admission into Elrazi Medical University are required to purchase the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME form and sit for the examination, in line with national admission regulations.

National applicants must:
Purchase and sit for JAMB UTME
Meet the relevant subject requirements for their chosen course
Complete their application on the Elrazi Medical University admission portal

For International Students
International applicants do not require JAMB.
Prospective students applying from outside Nigeria can apply directly through the university portal using their academic qualifications and supporting documents, in accordance with Elrazi Medical University’s international admission guidelines.

Subject Requirements for Science Programmes
Candidates applying into science-based and medical programmes are required to have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, obtained in not more than two sittings.
The compulsory subjects include:
English Language
Biology
Chemistry
Physics

In addition, candidates must sit for JAMB UTME with the following subject combination:
English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
This subject combination applies to all science, medical, and allied health programmes offered by the university.

Sudanese Ministry of Interior Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to Elrazi Medical University, Kano

Elrazi Medical University, Kano on Tuesday, 27th January, 2026, received a six-man delegation from the Sudanese Ministry of Interior on a courtesy visit to the University.

The delegation, led by Mohamed Arbab, expressed profound appreciation to the Management of Elrazi Medical University, Kano for the warm reception accorded them. The team commended the University for its visible commitment and dedication to the provision of quality medical education in Nigeria, noting the institution’s role in training healthcare professionals and contributing to human capital development.

According to the delegation, the primary purpose of their visit to Nigeria is to assess the conditions of Sudanese refugees residing in the country, as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to ensure the welfare and well-being of Sudanese citizens abroad.

While welcoming the delegation, the Vice Chancellor of Elrazi Medical University, Kano expressed delight at their visit and thanked the Sudanese Ministry of Interior for choosing Elrazi Medical University as one of the institutions to engage during their mission. He described the visit as a significant opportunity to further strengthen the existing partnership between Elrazi Medical University, Kano and The People’s Republic of Sudan, particularly in the areas of education, health, and humanitarian collaboration.

The Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the University’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and supporting initiatives that promote education, healthcare delivery, and the welfare of vulnerable populations, including refugees.

The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and a shared resolve to deepen collaboration between both parties for the benefit of Sudanese nationals and the broader academic and humanitarian community.
