WHAT A VOLUNTARY VENTURE

Really I see our input to the rural school as voluntary. Otherwise I see not much reason why we should be crying to our children for any development the school is about to achieve. Even when I am ashame to beg my children ie people like you, I am compelled to do so for the sake of the relative standard already achieved.

The school has blessings to count as a result of its children, I mean the old students. Among the blessings are:
1. Computer section with over 30 laptops.
2. E library with books and the theatre art department are equally not doing badly with their facilities
3. The resent completed fencing of the school after a violent rainstorm that blow down about half of the total perimeter fence of the school.
Two things encourage me to act this way
1. I am committed to the development of human race .
2. The tenant of Christianity for example Matthew 7:7 says Ask, and it shall be given. This is the encouragement and faith I have in this regards.

Now the school, is constructing a new classroom to accommodate "B" arms of the Junior classes for efficiency, instead of putting them together to achieve little or nothing at the end.

While this is going on, there came another setback. Yes as we resume for this term, our solar source of power could no longer power the loads and when the engineer was called in, he confirmed the batteries were bad.

We are left with nothing than to cry again as usual. His assessment put the cost of the batteries we need to about #2 Millions which for now we cannot afford with other development going on.

Now, I have decided to ask and knock. No amount is too big or small in this case.
