RECTOR RECEIVES LEADERSHIP OF NKST WOMEN FELLOWSHIP WORLDWIDE (MBAITSOUGHVE)

On Tuesday, 18 August 2026, the Rector of Intercontinental College of Technology Makurdi (ICTM), Professor Iorwuese Dickson Gernah, received the leadership of the NKST Women Fellowship (Mbaitsoughve), who paid a courtesy visit to the institution.

The visit was aimed at familiarising the fellowship with the programmes, services and facilities available at ICTM. Following a fruitful discussion with the Rector in his office, the visitors were taken on a tour of the institution’s facilities.

The delegation expressed satisfaction with what they saw, particularly at the Printing Department, where they had the opportunity to see the Large Format Printing Machine being used to produce fabrics—something they were seeing for the first time.

Overall, the visitors were pleased with the facilities and programmes of the institution and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about ICTM.

NATIONAL BOARD FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (NBTE) GRANTS FULL ACCREDITATION TO OUR NINE(9) PROGRAMMES

The Intercontinental College of Technology Makurdi (ICTM) has received accreditation for ten (10) academic programmes from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

The accreditation follows the successful Digital Quality Assurance visit conducted by the NBTE from 13–15 July 2026 and is a significant milestone for the Polytechnic.

Beyond the accreditation itself, the development affirms that ICTM’s state-of-the-art technology-based facilities, science laboratories and workshops are appropriately equipped and deployed to provide quality technical education that meets the needs of industries both locally and globally.

This achievement further reflects the institution’s commitment to maintaining high standards in technical and vocational education.

Meanwhile, admission into the 2026/2027 Academic Session is ongoing.

We'll be honest with you — most holiday programs for kids are just... daycare with extra steps.

This one isn't that.

Our Coding Academy runs for 4 weeks (plus a bonus elective week), and by the end, your child will have actually built something. Not colored a worksheet. Not "learned about" computers. Built. A game. An app that solves a real problem in their own community. Real things they can show you.

Ages 9–12 start with Scratch. Ages 13–16 go straight into real Python. And in the elective week, they design and install their own Android app — on their own phone.

It all wraps up with Demo Day, where they present what they made in front of family and community leaders. Watching your kid explain their own project with that much confidence? That's the part parents keep talking about afterward.
