In this era of information explosion where we have so many misinformation and disinformation especially at this time when the world is facing a pandemic (COVID-19), there is urgent need for Librarians and Information Professionals to serve as catalysts for the effective dissemination of information to promote true knowledge. They are expected to explore every channel of communication for the practice of true information throughput. They are also expected disseminate information by sharing on different media platforms to educate users. Librarians and other knowledge or information providers should equal the task of providing the right information, at the right time, to the right people, using the right techniques or tools.
