The Rector of Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu (ANSPOLY), Dr. (Mrs.) Njideka Rita Chiekezie, continues to demonstrate that true leadership goes beyond material support. It is equally about investing in the minds, abilities, confidence, and future of the people.
In the same spirit, the 7th SUG President of Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu (ANSPOLY), Comr. Akpeh Joseph Ndubuisi (Ugbwu), for the 2026/2027 administration, represents a student leadership vision centred on mental empowerment, capacity development, responsible leadership, and the advancement of the student community.
The partnership between institutional leadership and student leadership reflects the importance of creating an environment where students are not only supported materially but are also encouraged to think independently, develop their potential, acquire relevant skills, pursue opportunities, and become valuable contributors to society.
True empowerment begins with the mind. When individuals are equipped with knowledge, confidence, creativity, and the ability to make informed decisions, they become better positioned to overcome challenges and create positive change within their families, institutions, communities, and society.
Mental empowerment is therefore more than an investment in the present; it is an investment in the future. By empowering minds, nurturing potential, and promoting purposeful leadership, ANSPOLY continues to contribute to the development of a generation prepared to lead, innovate, and make meaningful impact.
