Impact Beyond the Campus. 🌍📚
Our 400 Level Public Health students has completed their Field Practicum, taking learning beyond the classroom and into the communities they will one day serve.
As part of the exercise, the students visited key public health and social welfare institutions, including markets, the Public Health Unit of the Primary Health Care Agency, abattoirs, correctional facilities, schools for children with special needs, the Public Health and Disease Control & Prevention Laboratory at FMC Bida, the Water Board, NISEPA, and other relevant institutions.
The field experience provided valuable firsthand exposure to the intersection of public health and social welfare, helping students better understand how environmental health, disease prevention, sanitation, social services, and community support systems work together to improve public health outcomes.
At Newgate University Minna, we remain committed to producing graduates who combine academic excellence with practical experience, professionals who are equipped to make a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of their communities.
Because the best Public Health professionals are not only educated—they are experienced.
