6 DAYS TO RESUMPTION

At this point, even the Financial Secretary, Mrs. Ekpenyong, Arit Paul, has started counting! 💵😂

But wait… six is not just a number. 👀

The sixth day in Genesis is significant because it was the day God created humanity and declared His creation “very good” (Genesis 1:26–31). It was a day of purpose, responsibility and preparation before the seventh day of rest.

So, as we approach RESUMPTION, the message is simple:

📚 Prepare your books.
🙏 Prepare your spirit.
🧠 Prepare your mind.
💰 And please… prepare your school fees 😂😂

Six days to return to the classroom. Six days to return to fellowship. Six days to return to purpose.

If God could complete creation and declare it “very good” on the sixth day, surely we can use these six days to prepare ourselves for another season of learning, formation, fellowship and service.

No more “I thought resumption was next month.” 😭😂

🔥 7 DAYS TO RESUMPTION! 🔥

The countdown continues at Essien Ukpabio Presbyterian Theological College Itu.

As we draw closer to another season of learning, fellowship and spiritual formation, may our hearts be prepared for all that God has in store.

Kairós is approaching, the appointed season to return, reconnect and refocus.

Let us come back with pistis, agapē, sophia and a renewed commitment to the calling of God.

As Student Chaplain Oden, Samuel Ofem reminds us, returning to school is more than resuming academic activities.

It is an opportunity to renew our walk with God, strengthen our fellowship and prepare ourselves for greater service.

“Prepare your hearts and return to the Lord.” 1 Samuel 7:3

7 days to return.
7 days to reconnect.
7 days to refocus.
7 days to grow.

Growing older is inevitable; growing wiser is apparently still under review.

Another year has arrived, and tempus fugit, but wisdom seems to be taking the scenic route.

At this stage of life, we no longer chase everything we see. Ratio has entered the building. We observe, analyse, and sometimes still make the same mistake… just with more confidence.

May this new chapter bring sanitas, felicitas et sapientia.

Today, gratia Dei has added another annus to your earthly pilgrimage.

As theologians would say, tempus fugit, but apparently, wisdom is still under construction. 😂

May your χάρις (grace) abound, your σοφία (wisdom) increase, and your δύναμις (strength) remain sufficient for the many responsibilities ahead.

At this point, we are not counting years; we are counting ἔτη εὐλογίας. And please, Deputy Chief, remember: senectus is not the problem; it is simply God’s way of giving you more time to perfect your theology 😂

May Dominus continue to order your steps, enlarge your influence and preserve you for many more fruitful years.
