The National President of the National Congress of Akoko Students (NACAS), (Comrade Ajisafe Emmanuel Ayowole), paid a courtesy visit to the King of Ikare Akoko, His Majesty to discuss the pressing issue of insecurity in Akoko land and its impact on students.
During the meeting, the NACAS President highlighted the concerns of students in secondary schools and higher institutions, emphasizing the need for collective action to address the rising cases of kidnappings, missing students, and violence.
The King, in his wisdom, listened attentively to the concerns and assured the NACAS President of his commitment to working with security agencies and stakeholders to ensure the safety and welfare of students.
Both parties explored ways to enhance security measures, including community policing, intelligence gathering, and collaboration with security agencies.
The NACAS President expressed gratitude to the King for his concern and support, stating, "We appreciate Your Majesty's leadership and commitment to the safety of our students. We look forward to working together to create a secure environment for our students to thrive."
The King pledged to mobilize traditional rulers, security agencies, and community leaders to address insecurity in Akoko land, ensuring students can pursue their education without fear.

Also NACAS National President Visits Security Agencies in Ikare Akoko to Discuss Student Safety
The National Nacas President recently visited key security agencies in Ikare Akoko, including the Ikare *Police Area Command, Ikare Amotekun Zonal Command, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).* The purpose of the visit was to discuss the growing concerns of insecurity in Akoko land and explore ways to safeguard students in secondary schools and higher institutions.
- *Student Safety*: The NACAS President highlighted the need for enhanced security measures to protect students from kidnappings, violence, and other forms of insecurity.
- *Collaboration*: The security agencies assured NACAS of their commitment to working together to ensure student safety and welfare.
- *Logistical Support*: The security agencies requested government support in financing their logistics, providing good equipment, vehicles, and bikes for effective operations.
- *Community Surveillance*: They also requested the installation of CCTV cameras in communities to enhance surveillance and protect citizens and students.
The security agencies have shown commitment to addressing insecurity in Akoko land,
- The Police Command has deployed personnel to traffic-prone areas and red spots.
- The NSCDC has deployed tactical operatives to provide security during festivities.
- Amotekun Corps has deployed operatives to cover all local government areas.
The NACAS President and security agencies have agreed to work together to:
