*FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY OWERRI 2026/2027 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE*
The Management of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) hereby invites candidates to apply for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must:
1. Have applied through JAMB for 2026 undergraduate admission
2. Choose FUTO as their First Choice institution
3. Score a minimum of 150 in UTME (depending on programme requirements)
4. Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026
5. Possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
*APPLICATION PERIOD*
1. Opening Date: Friday, May 22, 2026
2. Closing Date: Friday, July 31, 2026
*Programme Cut-Off Marks*
1. 150 Minimum: Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering (selected), Physical Sciences, ICT, Logistics, and related courses
2. 170 Minimum: Computer Science, Engineering (core disciplines), Architecture, Health Sciences, Electrical
3. 200 Minimum: MBBS (Medicine and Surgery)
*DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS*
Candidates must possess A’Level, OND, HND, or First Degree qualifications in relevant fields. Academic transcripts must be forwarded to the Registrar on or before the deadline.
NB:
1. All O’Level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS not later than August 17, 2026
2. Candidates must ensure consistency between JAMB CAPS and application details
3. Only completed applications and properly uploaded results will be considered
