Academic success is the demonstrated ability to achieve and to excel in scholastic activities.

Basic Keys to Academic Success

Vision: What is your Vision over your Academics? What do you have in mind to become out of academics? If you
keep your vision in mind, it will help you maintain maximum concentration and apply hardwork with ease. This implies that vision brings about discipline.

Focus : Academic vision brings about academic focus; that is, setting your eyes on the goal, then you will never allow anything else to take you off the track (Hebrews 12:2)

Study: Garbage In Garbage Out means more than just a computer jargon, it applies here as well. Whatever you
want to know you have to learn it. Whatsoever you want to recall you must commit first to memory. Don’t leave
things to chance. 2Tim 2:15.

Law of Meditation: Meditate on those things you have studied, consciously replace every idle thought with thought of that which you want to recall. Do it regularly and know if you will still be poor academically. Engage your mind in deep rich thought which would eventually engender success in study. Joshua 1:8 “this book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate there in day and night, then you shall have good success.

Law of Consistency: Inconsistency is a pill against success. The antidote is found in commitment and persistence. Are willing to pay the price for academic
success? Or are you looking at past failures, present inconsistencies and inabilities? Failure is a mischievous
fore runner, the wise will understand and make good of it.

future.

D tap root of a stable destiny is ur
character.

Character is who u are in d dark & wht u do wen no 1 is watching u, dat is d real u.

Wen character is in place destiny is
secure.

Lack of character is a demoter. Wht makes a man is largely invisible.

D character u are displayin on d outside is controlled by ur inside.

So if u are corrupt on d inside u will
begin 2 manifest evil on d outside.

It is ur character dat enhances ur status.

Who u are 2day is wht will determine ur future 2mrw. So wht eva u want 2
become 2mrw has 2 b determined now.

Without a christ like character ur destiny is not secured.

Character is d manifestation of integrity.

Who u are is far more important dan wht u do.

It is ur character 1st b4 ur talent. Talent without character is destructive.

If u dnt have character at d base of ur
foundation, u dnt have a future. Bcos no matter how far u go, if u dnt have a character, u dnt have a future.

No matter how talented & brilliant u are, D foundation of a lasting christian is GOD.

Place more value on ur character & u will become a man of value.

As a youth if u have character no devil
can burial u. When a youth has character, it is impossible 2 burial his
destiny. So a man wit character can not b buried.

U may pass true challenges but give it a time. Wht eva u are facing 2day is 4
character development.

Wht makes u a long lasting star in d
kingdom of GOD is ur character. It is ur meekness dat determines ur enlargement.

So ur dignity is a function of ur integrity.

faithfulness. D more righteousness u
embrace d more u excel.

Lack of character is d reason 4 crisis.
Personality has d power 2 open many
doors but character is wht will keep dem open as long as u want. When u are bad, ur destiny becomes
bad.

Now i want u 2 make decision 2 have a GODLY character. Most of u have been living ur life ur own way. No character, no direction, jst living anyhow. U have gone so far in dat aspect of life, but GOD is sayin 2 u, dat pattern of life will lead u nowhere.

Wisdom demands u make a "U" turn
now b4 it gets too late 4 u. U need a
change in d right direction. Having a
right character is not fasting & praying, but decision.

Character is purely a matter of decision.

NATIONAL INNOVATION DIPLOMA/NID OR ND
The Academy admits students into a National Innovation Diploma, this programme has received the endorsement of NBTE/FME as this programme is a minimum of four semester or semester maximum as the case may be.

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMES
Under the statutory provision establishing Lagos Aviation and Maritime Business Academy as an
independent tertiary institution, the school offer various programmes on full-time, part-time and distance learning. The Professional Diploma
Programmes includes; Business Administration, Petroleum Resource Management, Mass Communication, Computer Science/Engineering,
Catering & Hotel Management etc.
The Semester and study duration are as follow; - Certificate / Foundation - 8 months -2 Semester -Professional Diploma - 16 Months -4 Semester

PROFESSIONAL HIGHER DIPLOMA
The Higher Professional Diploma (PHD) Programme comprises 4 Semester of 4 Months each. The basic entry qualification includes; a PD Certificate from Lagos Aviation and Maritime Business Academy or any first Degree or Professional Qualification obtained from a recognized Institution in Nigeria/
Oversees. The Semester and study duration are as follows; -Professional Higher Diploma I - 8 Months -Professional Higher Diploma II- 8 Months (Final)
