Originally, this Christmas is known as saturnalia and it's a week long pagan festival done to mark the birth of the Babylonia sun god Tammuz, also known as Zeus in Greek and many other gods birthdays.
Tammuz, born before 2600 BC,
Krishna, of Indian, 3228 BC,
Mithra, of Persia, before 1500 BC,
Buddha, of India 563 BC,
Quetzalcoatl, god of western Hemisphere, 900 BC,
Hercules, son of Zeus, born 500 BC,
Attis, of Phrygia, born around 1200 BC,
Horus, of Egypt 2500 BC, etc, all their birthday dates were on 25th December.

Christians have nothing to celebrate at Christmas

Most Christians are unaware that Easter and Christmas are pagan festival surreptitiously merged with Christianity.

Easter is not a Christian holiday. The word Easter is not even scriptural; it does not exist in true translations of the bible. Easter was smuggled into the King James Bible in Acts 12:4, where it was substituted for the original word; “Passover:” “When (Herod) had apprehended (Peter), he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.”
As a matter of fact, the word Easter only appears in the King James Version of English bible translations. It does not exist in any other English bible translation. Even the King James Version was forced to remove it from its revised version, known as the New King James Version.

Most Christians are unaware that Easter is a pagan festival surreptitiously merged with Christianity. Noah’s son, Ham the father of Cush and the father and Ni**od
After Cush died Ni**od married his mother Ashtoreth. In some cultures, Ashtoreth is called Ishtar, which is transliterated in English as Easter. Ashtoreth made herself “the Queen of Heaven;” the goddess of fertility and became an object of worship. This idol worship of Ashtoreth, later camouflaged in Christendom as Easter, is specifically forbidden in the scriptures.

When was Jesus Christ resurrected?

We know that Jesus was crucified on the day before a Sabbath, as John 19:31 tells us. While most people assume that the Sabbath mentioned here was the regular weekly Sabbath day (observed Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), John plainly tells us that this particular Sabbath "was a high day" — a term used for the seven annual Holy Days that were part of God's festivals.

A careful reading of the Gospels shows that this "high day" was the first day of Unleavened Bread, which was a Holy Day (Leviticus 23:2; Leviticus 23:6-7) that can fall on a weekday.

Jesus remained in the grave for three days and three nights just as He had promised (Matthew 12:40). It is impossible to reconcile Jesus' statement in Matthew 12 with the idea of a Friday afternoon crucifixion followed by a Sunday morning resurrection. (See "Jesus Wasn't Crucified on Friday—or Resurrected on Sunday!".)

Three days and three nights from the time of His entombment, just before the beginning of the first Holy Day of Unleavened Bread, brings us to the sunset at the end of the weekly Sabbath, still during the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread, as the time when Jesus was resurrected.

In actuality there was no Sunday morning resurrection. But on that Sunday word spread quickly that the tomb was empty and that He had appeared first to Mary Magdalene (John 20:11-18) and then to other followers.

Celebrate the coming Feast 2023 with the unleavened bread of Truth and sincerity not with old leaven of malice and wickedness.

Acts 28:31
Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Inspiration: While Paul was a prisoner in Rome, he still got to preach and teach. He did it with confidence and no one told him to stop. That is really incredible that even while he was a prisoner, he was able to spread the gospel. Paul was a prisoner and instead of wallowing in self-pity or despair, he recognized that he could still glorify God in the situation. Sometimes our situation may seem bleak. Why would God allow this to happen to us? We can glorify God in every situation. There is no situation that you will face that God cannot be glorified in. Wherever you find yourself, no matter how hard the circumstance, seek to glorify God.

Facebook has allowed us to create a world where we can have thousands of "friends" from all over the world. In fact, most people who frequently use Facebook have more FB friends than FTF (face to face) friends. We spend time online connecting with some of these friends, but mostly we peruse our news feed to see their latest posts. We see, of course, pictures of their families, cute little puppy videos they have uploaded, and sometimes an inspirational quote. But we also see rants and sarcastic comments and thinly veiled threats. If you look long enough, among these many "friends" you will find something that disturbs you or makes you uneasy. You begin to wonder, "Whom is she talking about? Is she making that comment in reference to me?" We get sucked right into the drama that is no drama and we spend our lives stalking their pages to ease our minds. It ruins us. In Hamlet, Polonius advises his son: "Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them unto thy soul with hoops of steel." Those friends we have who have proven, over time, to be true friends, those are the ones we need to hold on to. Sometimes it pays to cull those Facebook friends list. If we are mindful of whom we choose to be in on our "friends" list, we will see that the ones we have chosen are tried and true. Jesus is such a friend. He is one who "sticks closer than a brother." With a friend like Him, what more do we need?

Lord, help me to be mindful of the people I allow into my life. Help me not to bring drama and angst into my heart and my home. I ask that You help me to appreciate the good friends I have and that You will send people my way who will strengthen my walk and encourage me in You. I thank You for being the best friend I could ever have. Help me find friends who are more like You. Amen.

Why Worshipping Idols? Christian beware, who have knowledge of this?

PAGANISM AND CATHOLICISM: THE WORSHIP OF MARY!!!

Summary: Some of the names Mary is given by Roman Catholicism place her on the same level as Christ, when in reality Jesus is the only one exalted to the highest place.

The Catholic Church has elevated Mary to the level of mediator, advocate, and co-redeemer of humanity, in direct contradiction of the Scriptures. In 1854, Pope Pius IX declared Mary “immaculate,” or sinless, thus giving her the position of mediator.

Mary takes the place of Jesus in Catholic teaching. Instead of the faithful looking to Jesus as the Author and Finisher of their faith, they look to Mary. In Mary they find access to God. In her the Church is all holy and can learn obedience to God.

“The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship.” The Church rightly honors “the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blesses Virgin has been honored with the title of ‘Mother of God,’ to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs.”i

The way to salvation is open to none otherwise than through Mary. The salvation of all depends on their being favoured and protected by Mary. He who is protected by Mary will be saved: he who is not will be lost. Our salvation depends on thee. God will not save us without the intercession of Mary.ii

Mary takes the place of God and she herself is treated like a goddess, a teaching to which the Catholic Church is not averse if we study even her modern statements on this issue.

But while in the most Blessed Virgin the Church has already reached that perfection whereby she exists without spot or wrinkle, the faithful still strive to conquer sin and increase in holiness. And so they turn their eyes to Mary: in her, the Church is already the “all-holy."iii

Here are some of the names Mary is given, from the book Thunder of Justice:

Prophetess Of These Last Times, The Immaculate Conception, Mother Of The Church, Mary As The New Eve, Queen Of Heaven and Earth/Queen of Peace, The Assumption, Queen of the Holy Rosary, Queen and Mother of Families, Mary as Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix, Advocate, Our Lady of all Nations, Ark of the New Covenant, Mother of the Second Advent.iv

The titles Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix, and Advocate in particular raise serious concerns, as they contradict the plainest teachings of Scripture. The Bible clearly teaches that there is but one Redeemer, Mediator, and Advocate, and that is Christ Jesus.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5)

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people (Luke 1:68).

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1).

In spite of these words, the Catholic Church is willing to accept Mary in the place of Jesus Christ, depriving Him of His mediatory role. Even more surprising is the willingness of the Catholic Church to acknowledge Mary as goddess and part of the Godhead. This teaching is already covertly in place and is, in effect, nothing other than pagan goddess worship.

David was a great warrior right from his youth. He defeated many enemies of Israel. But in this study, we see him defeated by one close enemy: the flesh. The flesh is the great enemy that everyone of us must put under through the principle of self-discipline, if we want to make heaven (1 Cor. 9:27). This lesson discusses David’s sin of adultery, his unsuccessful cover-ups, the wrath of God he incurred, and his repentance.
The flesh is a deadly enemy you must put under to make heaven. You must be sanctified, flee all appearance of evil, avoid sinful curiosity and regularly meditate on God’s word. Above all, you must put the flesh under: self-discipline.
David’s attempt to cover up his sin led him to kill the innocent victim. In an attempt to cover your sin, you will only commit more sins. Rather, accept responsibility and repent promptly. Nothing can wash away sin but the blood of Jesus!
