ONE YEAR POST-INDUCTION AS A PHARMACIST
Today marks exactly one year since I was inducted into the noble profession of Pharmacy. Looking back, I am filled with deep gratitude, joy, and reflection on how far God has brought me since that defining moment.
The journey has been both challenging and transformative β from rigorous academic training to hospital rotations, community practice, distributive pharmacy, and continuous professional development. Every stage has shaped the pharmacist I am becoming.
On this special anniversary, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all my lecturers, mentors, and technical staff whose dedication laid the foundation of my professional journey.
To Prof. James, thank you for your unwavering mentorship, wisdom, and commitment to excellence. Your influence goes far beyond the classroom β it lives in the discipline, knowledge, and values you instilled in us.
To Prof. Amali, the Dean, I sincerely appreciate your leadership, vision, and commitment to maintaining excellence within the faculty. Your guidance and administrative strength continue to inspire us all.
To Prof. Nasir, the Deputy Dean, thank you for your support, encouragement, and consistent presence throughout our academic journey. Your contributions to student development are deeply appreciated.
To Prof. Iyabo, thank you for your guidance, dedication, and impactful teaching. Your role in shaping our academic and professional foundation will always be remembered with gratitude.
To Chief Laboratory Technician Aliyu Kende, I sincerely appreciate your patience, technical expertise, and commitment to ensuring we acquired essential practical skills. Your contribution to our training was invaluable.
To all lecturers, mentors, and non-academic staff β thank you for not just teaching us pharmacy, but for shaping us into responsible professionals and better human beings.
As I celebrate this milestone, I also celebrate every patient served, every lesson learned, every colleague encountered, and every opportunity for growth.
Above all, I remain deeply grateful to God for how far I have come and how far He will still take me.
To my fellow pharmacists and colleagues β Happy Induction Anniversary to us.
One year down, and a lifetime of service, excellence, and impact ahead, In shaa Allah.
