On this faithful day, on 29th Ramadan i baked cupcakes for my clients, as some were going to travel with it and i said I'll make sure to give everyone their orders whether we're going to fast 30 or not...
I started with baking vanilla cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes, they all came out perfect, then i went ahead to arrange my red velvet cupcakes inside the oven as it was still on, and i use gas to bake anything bakable...
Though I've been baking for years, till date i still write out my recipes on paper and follow it to avoid stories that touch the heart and soul..
The gas was refilled before i started using it, as i closed the oven door and set my timer i went to help my assistant with the pies as they were going in next. After some minutes i went to check the cupcakes through the transparent oven doors and they were coming out nice, went back to finish up and after the timer was up i went to check again..
I opened the door, Lo and behold, the cupcakes all sank, the fire was off and gas was leaking, i don't know how it went off, maybe because wind was blowing sbda anyi iska ranan ba laifi..and na riga fa na gama everything i said i was not going to bake another batch of cupcakes again and i was out of stock of most ingredients...
Had to rush to the nearby shop to get some ingredients and started afresh because we cannot compromise on quality honestly..
