The startups are off and running.
This was the start of the Food Pioneers Program 2026. During two energetic program days, the new cohort of entrepreneurs took their first steps towards the pitch event.
Day 1 was all about connection and collaboration: getting to know each other, stepping into the spotlight, giving feedback on each other’s pitches and exploring personal strengths and pitfalls.
Day 2 shifted the focus to the startups themselves. Together with experts Tim de Kraker from Gritd, and Leon Buter and Rob Dal from program partner , the participants worked on their growth stage, bottlenecks, product-market fit and the choices needed to move forward.
Step by step, the group is working towards the pitch event on 8 October 2026, where the participants will present their companies to a jury, investors and a room full of food professionals. That’s where they get the chance to receive growth capital of at least €50,000.
