Programme Committee Psychology Evaluaties
Zoals hierboven beschreven houdt de OC zich ook bezig met de evaluaties van alle vakken binnen psychologie.
In de Opleidingscommissie (OC) kunnen docenten en studenten gezamenlijk invloed uitoefenen op het onderwijs van de opleiding Psychologie. In het Opleidingsstatuut Psychologie staat het volgende:
De belangrijkste taken van de Opleidingscommissie:
- De jaarlijkse beoordeling van de onderwijsprogramma's van de programmagroepen, waarbij onder meer getoetst wordt of het programma studeerbaar is en of
de omvang van de onderdelen in overeenstemming is met de studiepunten die aan de onderdelen zijn toegekend.
- Advies geven over de Onderwijs- en Examenregeling (OER) die jaarlijks wordt vastgesteld.
- De organisatie van de evaluatie van studie-onderdelen en de bespreking van de resultaten van de evaluaties.
- Advies uitbrengen over nieuwe ontwikkelingen, zoals de honours gezondheidsmaster en maatregelen om het studiesucces te verbeteren.
- De voorbereiding van de onderwijsvisitaties die eens in de zes jaar worden georganiseerd. Tijdens een visitatie beoordeelt een onafhankelijke commissie de kwaliteit van onze opleiding.
- Het maken van een jaarverslag.
- De studentleden onderhouden banden met onder andere de ombudsstudent, de VSPA, de studentenraad en de studentenfracties van de programmagroepen. Het lidmaatschap van de studenten in de Opleidingscommissie duurt twee studiejaren; elk jaar treden er drie af en komen er drie nieuwe bij. Na elk tentamen worden deze evaluaties ingevuld door alle studenten en het is dan ook belangrijk om te weten wat er met deze evaluaties gedaan wordt en wat er uit de evaluaties naar voren komt. Iedere student kan deze evaluaties inzien en is op blackboard enrolled. Je kunt ze vinden onder het kopje: Opleidingscommissie Psychologie: Evaluaties (deze link staat linksboven in je scherm als je op blackboard bent). Wanneer je vragen of opmerkingen hebt kun je deze altijd naar ons mailen. Wie zijn wij? De OC bestaat uit zes studenten en zes docenten. Van elke programmagroep is een docent vertegenwoordigd. Mark Spiering van de programmagroep Klinische Psychologie is de voorzitter van de commissie en studentlid Mayra Kapteyn is de vice-voorzitter. De studenten en docenten vormen buddykoppels van elk één student en één docent, die samen verantwoordelijk zijn voor een takenpakket.

Hi all!
My name is Elin, I‘m 20 years old, and last year I finished the second year of the Psychology Bachelor.
This year I took a year off to become a board member of the VSPA (the study association of Psychology). Combining the fact that I want to specialize in Work & Organiziational Psychology, and that I love being a part of the VSPA; a board year was - and still is - the perfect choice for me.
For the last two years I‘ve been a member of the focus group, so when they asked a VSPA member to attend PC meetings, I happily agreed. I‘ve always liked (critical) discussions about the quality of the education, and I enjoy thinking about ways to improve the study even further.
Do you have anything you‘d like to bring to our attention? Don’t hesitate to contact me; I would love to take credit for it ;)

Hi everyone,
My name is Miriam and this my second year in the PC and I’m currently the secretary. This means that I take the minutes of the meetings and manage our email account. Additionally I’m also a general member and contribute to the discussions.
I joined the PC because I wanted to be in a more “serious” committee that wasn’t necessarily a part of a study association but more the university.

A new and very different academic year has started for you and for the programme committee!
As usual, the programme committee is a team of students and teachers working together to improve the Psychology programme. Our tasks include evaluating the Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER) and the course evaluations that are filled out at the exams, creating an annual report, and working on both teacher and student well-being in this special academic year. There are many more duties for the programme committee to tackle and as always input from you is very welcome!

As the academic year is coming to an end, the Programme comittee will also suspend their activities. We had our final meetings last week, and we are looking forward to improving the quality of education next year with some new additions to our team!

The Programme Committee gives teachers and students a way to influence education at the Psychology programme. The programme charter states the following:
The most important tasks of the Programme Committee:
-The yearly evaluation of the study programmes of the programme groups, where it is tested whether the programme is study-able and whether the size of components matches the credits attributed to these components.
-Advising on the Teaching and Examination Regulations that are established every year
-Organizing the evaluation of study-components and discussing the results of the evaluations
-Advising on recent developments, like the honours health master and measures to increase study success.
-The preparation of the external assessment that is organised every six years. During this assessment, an independent committee assesses the quality of our programme.
-Making an annual report
-the student members maintain ties with the VSPA, the student council, the “ombudsstudent” and the student fractions. Student members maintain their position for two years, every year three step down and three new student join.
Evaluations
As was mentioned above, the programme committee looks at the evaluations of all courses within psychology. After every exam these evaluations are filled in by all students, so it is important to know what is done with the results of these evaluations, and what information comes forward from them.
Every student can see these evaluations on canvas. If you have any questions regarding this you can always mail these to us.
Who are we?
The programme group consists of six student members and six lecturer members. Every programme group is represented by one lecturer. Brenda Jansen from clinical developmental psychology is the chairman of the committee. The student and lecturer members form buddy-pairs that share responsibility over a certain subject.
