The Danger of Unhealthy Church-Hopping
• Lack of Accountability: When you hop from church to church, you avoid deep relationships, making it easy to hide sin, avoid correction, or shirk responsibilities. [1, 2]
• "Itching Ears": Constantly leaving churches to find a message that suits your passions is directly condemned as a mark of spiritual immaturity.
• The Verses:
Timothy 4:3-4 "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."
