Last friday it was time for the Dutch drinks. Pancakes, oliebollen, stampot and some champagne, the best start to a new year 🎉
Also, we announced the location of the study tour for this summer. South-Korea and Shanghai, watch out, because we are coming!

This year we, Dispuut Process & Energy, organised the yearly Study Tour to the country of the rising sun, Japan!
We visited with a enthusiastic group of 21 students several companies in our study field in Tokyo and Osaka.
We paid a visit to the space agency JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), Toshiba, Idemitsu, Kawasaki and Osaka Gas.
In the free times we did a lot of cultural things such as visiting a lot of beautiful temples, the formal capital Kyoto and of course a lot of karaoke bars! We had lots of fun!

This trip could not have been put together without the help of the Universiteitsfonds Delft, Teijin Aramid, Shell, Optiver Europe, Flowserve and many more!

Yesterday both students and employees of the Process & Energy department persevered the unexpected good weather to decide who will win the annual P&E football match. Although the employees managed to score in the final minute it wasn't enough to beat the students, who won 4-1. Both sides went on to enjoy the weather after the game with some drinks and pizza to finish a great day!
