If you told me a year ago that I’d be spending my internship studying soil ecosystems and getting hands-on agricultural experience in rural Japan, I probably wouldn’t have believed you! 🇯🇵🌾
As part of my studies at HAS green academy, I spent my internship at Tsukuyomi Farm—a project dedicated entirely to regenerative agriculture, soil restoration, and eco-friendly farming practices.
In a world where we’ve become so disconnected from what we eat, this experience taught me how important it is to reconnect with nature by growing our own food. Beyond the soil, I realized how essential community is in agriculture—farming was never meant to be done alone, but through shared hands, patience, and care.
It was challenging, deeply rewarding, and completely changed my perspective on the future of food systems. Drop any questions about doing an internship abroad in the comments! 👇
