TU/e Finance Week - 8 to 11 May 2017

The TU/e Finance Week is a new event for all students studying at Eindhoven University of Technology with an interest in the sector of Finance!

The TU/e Finance Week will be organized for the second time from 8 to 11 may 2017. The event will take place at Eindhoven University of Technology. The goal of the event is to offer TU/e students the opportunity to develop themselves in the field of Finance. Through workshops and lectures, students will be able to up their financial game.

During the second day of the TU/e Finance Week Adyen and Achmea paid us a visit. Adyen started off with an interesting workshop about the future of online payments. After that Achmea took us into the world of reinsurance, the way insurers cover their risks. Tonight we will continue with the movie 'The Founder'!

Today was the first day of the TU/e Finance Week, we kicked off with an interesting lecture by Alex Klein. Alex told us about how global phenomena like the Brexit and Trump affect the economy of our country.

In the afternoon lecture Pim Bertens, founder of Binckbank, walked us through his career and gave interesting insights in how he got to where he is now.

In the lunch break of Monday the 8th of May the Finance Week will kick off with an interesting lecture about the economic future of our nation!

In this lecture Dr. Alex Klein will show how international developments - from Trump to Brexit - affect us and our national economy. Is the economic crisis really over here?
