Inclusivity is one of the core values that guides our school community; that is why celebrating Purple Friday with our students is so important to us.

Our secondary students started the day by raising the flag and handing out GSA flyers, bracelets, and pins showing their support for love, acceptance, and equality. Our primary students ended the day with an amazing flash mob to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way!

Together, we celebrate being ourselves, embracing our differences, and creating a school where everyone feels safe, accepted, and valued. Because everyone deserves to be proud of who they are! 💜🏳️‍🌈💜

Join Us: Their Future, Our Support - Parent Information Evening at the ISE!

International School Eindhoven and Sondervick International School are pleased to invite you to Their Future, Our Support, a joint parent information evening for families of students in MP4 - DP2 (ages 15 and above).

An evening dedicated to helping you guide your teenager through their education and future plans. Discover how to support a journey tailored to your child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals.

Guest Speakers, Mohammad Djawad Ahmadi (Study Choice Advisor at Wageningen University & Research) and Dennis Witsiers (Project Leader at Brainport for Education), will be sharing practical tips and insights on student empowerment and helping teenagers find their ideal educational path.

After taking 2nd place in the Netherlands and qualifying for internationals, our Franckenstein robotics team had big plans for the summer. One of the team members, Leo, explains how he spent his summer holiday to improve their robot for the competition.

"For the summer vacation, I visited my family in China. I brought the spike set with me and bought a mat there. My summer holiday allowed me to test out different mechanisms, with my main focus on completing the mosaic without the need for any motors. I was able to discover new mechanisms for completing more missions."

Progress never sleeps! Our team is ready to take on internationals.

At the ISE, building a strong, inclusive community is at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this and help our students expand their social circles and build connections, we mix up our classes each school year. And to kickstart those new connections, our MP2 students pack their bags for camp at the start of the term every year!

The MP2 camp sets the tone for a supportive school community where active learning and connections truly come together as students step out of their daily routines to build essential collaboration, teamwork, and resilience. By navigating outdoor challenges and sharing fun-filled days together, new classmates quickly turn into long-lasting friends across the entire year group.

Last week, our Primary International Group 3 and Secondary MP1 students took a short walk over to our wonderful neighbors at Philips Fruittuin in the Lichtbos, combining outdoor fun, community collaboration, and hands-on education.

As part of their Healthy Me writing topic, Group 3 explored how movement and nutrition go hand in hand. They walked to the orchard, climbed, jumped, and ran around the play area, picked fresh apples and pears, and brought some back to school to make a fresh class fruit salad!

MP1 students harvested fruit to donate directly to the local food bank, putting care and service into the real world as part of their Service as Action programme.

Students also learned how nature works behind the scenes, from the vital role bees play in pollinating fruit trees to exploring insect hotels, bat houses, and homes built for birds of prey like falcons.

We are so fortunate to share our local ecosystem with neighbors like , giving our students inspiring space to learn about nature, healthy habits, and giving back! Thank you!

Part 1: Summer Prep for Croatia! 🇭🇷✈️

Yuganesh is part of our ISE Robotics Team Franckenstein, alongside teammates Carlos and Leo (MP5), who qualified for the upcoming international WRO Open European Championship in Croatia!

To get competition-ready, Yuganesh spent the summer break designing and coding:

"I took a LEGO Spike kit and the official mat home to start prepping. After researching and watching tutorials on different ways to build the robots that are needed specifically for this year online, I came up with a design that has a grabbing tool on one end and an arm on the other! Then I was able to build some of the missions with the remaining pieces of LEGO I had, and started to code the robot. After 3 to 4 weeks of testing, I passed the mat over to Leo for the next phase."

Our Sparrow Theater was packed with energy, ideas, and excitement last Wednesday for our annual CAS Fair!

This year marked an exciting first for us: alongside our incredible student-led CAS Clubs, we welcomed many local external organizations to campus. From community outreach to creative projects, our students had the chance to discover new passions and sign up for meaningful CAS activities.

A huge thank you to Centraal Orgaan opvang asielzoekers, Eindhoven City, De Ontdekfabriek, Loekatyou, Rechter Handen, Foodie Boulevard, the ISE Parents Committee, BuzzyChain, KansPlus-Sien, and the Primary PHE Department for joining us and inspiring our students to step outside their comfort zones. We are excited to build stronger ties and lasting friendships with our local community!
