Our MP1 students have been exploring the world's terrestrial biomes in Integrated Humanities this term. They have learned how natural systems work, how humans' lifestyle changed from hunter-gathering to farming in the Neolithic Revolution, and how these farming techniques impacted the environment.

They created terrestrial biome dioramas (3D models) using shoeboxes, natural materials, and creative model-making techniques. Each diorama includes information on how humans interact with and shape these environments.

Take a look at some of the fantastic creations!

Planning in the Moment!

Our youngest learners (age 4-5) choose where, how, and with what they learn. This builds independence, confidence, and a strong sense of ownership.

Our skilled educators watch for “sparks” moments of interest. Then, they extend learning with questions, materials, or challenges.
This is Planning in the Moment: relevant, meaningful, child-centred learning.

Learn more about our Early Years Programme via our website and join one of our VIP Mornings to experience it in person.

You cannot predict the weather in the Netherlands, but when the sun shines, we make the most of every moment!

Last week, Group 2 headed out on a little forest safari as part of their outdoor learning adventure. Along the way, they spotted and identified different animals, stopping at various points to find posters with mystery words to uncover their Global Mission question:

🐾 “How can we raise money to adopt an animal at the Eindhoven Zoo?” 🐾

What a great mission! We cannot wait to see the creative ideas our students come up with!

What a phenomenal weekend for the ISE Robotics Club!

After months of designing, building, testing, and coding, our talented primary and secondary students competed in the World Robot Olympiad last Saturday.

We are thrilled to announce that Team Spikes Jr in the Junior RoboMission and Team Franckenstein in the Senior RoboMission swept the board, bringing home 1st Place in their categories! 🥇🏆🤖

Congratulations to all our robotics students, teachers, and supporters who made this success possible. We couldn't be prouder!!

🌍✨ Empowering the Future — Support Niños de Guatemala ✨🌍

As part of our global CAS initiatives, our secondary students have proudly supported charities and communities both locally and globally through service and action. Over the past few years, the ISE community has united to support Niños de Guatemala and fundraised to help provide access to education for students in Guatemala.

This year, the ISE community is coming together once again to make an even bigger impact.

If you work for ASML, your support can go even further; donations made through the ASML Bright Funds page will be matched, doubling, or maybe even tripling your contribution!

TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

What an incredible week for our Primary Dutch Bilingual Group 6 students!

Our young innovators participated in the PSV Brainport Schools Challenge, an inspiring program designed to foster creative thinking, collaboration, and challenge students to solve real-world innovation and technology problems.

This exciting project concluded with an unforgettable grand finale inside the iconic Philips Stadium, where our students proudly presented their inventions to official judges from leading Brainport companies.

We are beyond proud to share that our Dutch Bilingual Group 6 won a prize in the "Nutrition Challenge"! 🏆✨

They designed an app to encourage visitors to make healthier food and snack choices. As a reward for their hard work and innovation, the students received an awesome soccer-themed coding mat, a fun and interactive way to learn coding skills!

Well done, Group 6!
We are incredibly proud of you all! ❤️👏

What happens when you give students 3 days, real-world challenges, and the freedom to create?

At ISE Interdisciplinary Days, our MYP students took on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1-5 through the lens of Challenge-Based Learning, moving beyond traditional classroom and subject boundaries. After the success of last year’s pilot, we were eager to see how our MYP students would elevate their impact, and the results were incredible. ✨

From upcycled fashion and interactive projects to Model United Nations debates, students stepped out of their comfort zone into real-world learning.

This is what happens when subject walls come down: engagement skyrockets! 🚀

Huge shoutout to our amazing students, teachers, staff, and parent community for making it all possible!

🚗💨 Our schoolyard turned into a theater today! 🎭

Our Group 5 & 6 students went on a wild road trip with 'De Monteur en het Meisje', a special theater gift from Parktheater Eindhoven, Wonkapodia, and Wildpark.

The students loved every minute of this outdoor adventure—from a broken-down Peugeot 205 to islands made of deep thoughts and non-stop parties.

What did the kids have to say?

✨ "The party guy dancing in silver underwear was the best!"

✨ "The mechanic dropping his coffee was so funny!"

✨ "I loved the music and how they talked to us."

A huge thank you to the performers and organizers for bringing the magic of theater directly to our school! 🌟

Are you ready for the challenge?

Next week may be a short week, but it certainly won’t be short on learning!

Our IB MYP Interdisciplinary Unit Days are coming up: three full days of inquiry, collaboration, and creativity, focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals 1–5. From ending poverty to achieving gender equality, students will explore real-world challenges through meaningful interdisciplinary learning experiences.

We are excited to see the results of all the innovation and teamwork to come.
