Vote for the PC History 2021-2022!

You can now vote for the new PC History with the link in your student e-mailbox. The deadline is July 2nd, 16:00hrs. Out of seven candidates, four will be selected to join the new PC History.

The Programme Committee is hiring!

The PC is looking for new members for the academic year 2021-2022. Do you want to help shape the future of our history programme? Are you a senior bachelor's student and do you want to represent your fellow history students? Then don’t hesitate any longer and sign up to join the PC! You will receive a financial compensation, it looks good on your resume and you get the opportunity to work together in a committee of students and staff members.

If you’re interested, send a short motivation letter (100 words) together with a photo of yourself and your student number to [email protected]. The deadline is June 18th. (For more information: check your student e-mailbox.)

Geef je mening over je opleiding door het invullen van de Nationale Studenten Enquête 2021! Hiermee help je de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren en help je aankomende studenten met het maken van hun studiekeuze.

Je vindt de link om de enquête in te vullen in je studentenmailbox. Je maakt hiermee ook nog eens kans op gave prijzen, onder andere een Macbook Air of een bol.com cadeaubon.

This morning, the PC History had a meeting with Dian Hulsebosch, the Student Assessor of the clusterboard. We will stay in close contact with her to discuss any issues about the quality of the education in the program.

What did you think of the courses that you followed in the first block of this academic year? In these corona-ridden times, it can be hard to study at home, but we hope you are all doing well.

Clemens Six is the History Lecturer of the Year 2019-2020!

This morning, we surprised him during one of his seminars. The students who voted for mister Six, describe him as following:

"Mister Six is a passionate and enthusiastic lecturer. His knowledge of not just one specific subject, but a broad range of topics, is praised by students. He knows how to excite students. In seminars, he encourages students to openly discuss the course material and debate with each other. Mister Six is a master in constructive criticism. You can somehow leave the room full of excitement, while just having heard that you can basically throw your findings away. He does all of this with flair."

We hope you’re all doing fine and giving the exam period all you’ve got so you can enjoy a well-deserved vacation!

The elections for the new Programme Committee members has opened. The registration deadline for the new Programme Committee members has passed and nine enthusiastic students are willing to help the history programme. Unfortunately, there is only room for four students, so we now depend on your vote. Who will take place in the PC next academic year? All BA-students have received an email with a link where you can find a file with motivations from all the candidates and a link where you can cast your vote.

Also, the ‘Lecturer of the Year 2019-2020 elections’ are in sight and you can vote for your favourite lecturer with the same link as with the OC election. So, who do you want to put in the spotlights? The deadline for both elections is on July 3rd.

Do you want to shape the future of our history course? For the upcoming academic year, the program committee of the history department is in search of new members! Are you interested in the history program? Do you want to co-determine it? Student members get paid for meetings, and it makes a fine addition to your CV! It is possible to send your application (a brief motivation statement) to [email protected] before the 19th of June.

We are looking for students who are enrolled in the bachelor course next year. After we received all the motivations, there will be a ballot. All history students are allowed to cast their votes in the period of the 26th of June up to and including the 3th of July. The candidates with the most votes are allowed to take a seat in the student council of the program committee. Good luck to you all!

Hi students of the history programme! We hope you’ve all successfully survived the exam period. We are the new Programme Committee student section of 2019-2020. We are the place to go for suggestions and complaints experienced during college for both bachelor as master students. With the feedback we will meet with six teachers and make decisions. So don’t hesitate to mail us on [email protected] and we will look after you! After all: “Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education” ~ J. F. Kennedy.

Hoi studenten van de geschiedenis opleiding! Wij hopen dat jullie heelhuids de tentamenperiode hebben overleefd. Wij zijn de studentgeleding van de Opleidingscommissie van 2019-2020. Wij zijn het aanspreekpunt voor suggesties en klachten rondom de studies van de bachelor en de master. Met de feedback gaan we samen aan de slag met 6 docenten en zullen we besluiten nemen. Dus wacht niet af tot het te laat is, stuur een mail naar [email protected] en we zullen ermee aan de slag! Zoals J. F. Kennedy heeft gezegd: "Onze vooruitgang als land kan niet sneller zijn dan onze vooruitgang in het onderwijs."
