✨ Keynote Speaker Reveal! ✨

We are excited to announce that Peter Muntigl will be one of our keynote speakers at the 45th edition of Tabu Dag!

Peter Muntigl is a researcher at Ghent University and an adjunct professor at Simon Fraser University, Canada. His research focuses on conversation analysis in domains such as healthcare communication, conflict talk, and the interactional management of social relationships. His work explores how the “talking cure” in psychotherapy and family therapy is interactionally accomplished.

✨ Keynote Speaker Reveal! ✨

We are excited to announce that Katja Haeuser will be our third keynote speaker at the 45th edition of Tabu Dag!

Katja Haeuser is a Researcher and Lecturer at Saarland University. She has been an associated member of the SFB Information Density & Linguistic Encoding since 2018 and a Principal Investigator in the project The Role of Language Experience and Surprise in Learning and Memory since 2022. Her research focuses on predictive language processing, idiom and metaphor comprehension, and individual differences across the lifespan. Her current projects explore the adaptiveness of linguistic prediction and its impact on memory.

We are excited to announce that Massimo Stella will be a keynote speaker at the 45th edition of Tabu Dag!

Dr. Stella is a Senior Researcher and Professore su Chiamata Diretta dall’Estero at the University of Trento, Italy, and PI of CogNosco Lab. With over 80 publications, his research focuses on cognitive data science, complex networks, and AI psychometrics. A Fellow of the Psychonomic Society, he was recently awarded a €1.3M FIS Starting Grant from the Italian Ministry of Research to explore the psychological implications of human-LLM interactions.

Jane Setter is a Professor of Phonetics at the University of Reading and a leading expert in speech prosody and Global Englishes. She is best known as a co-editor of the Cambridge English Pronouncing Dictionary and has authored several influential works, including Your Voice Speaks Volumes and The Cambridge Handbook of Phonetics.
