The University of Groningen (1614) is hosting a whole range of summer schools. Summer schools are a wonderful way to bring bright students and inspired researchers together to work intensively on important topics. Our summer schools are research-driven, and many of them are multidisciplinary, offering you a wide range of perspectives. We will especially highlight the Universityโ€™s priority research

themes: Energy, Healthy Ageing and Sustainable Society. Our academics will open up their networks for you and bring in international counterparts and external stakeholders. We invite you to bring in your knowledge and ambitions, and to share your experiences and questions. By thinking and sharing, we may be able to contribute to major societal issues and reach out to others, both locally and globally. Presented with a real-world challenge from the Amelander Energie Coรถperatie (AEC) from the outset of the course, participants will have to come up with a concrete response to the challenge at the end of the week. They will do so by drawing from expert-led sessions spanning law, social sciences, spatial planning, and environmental sciences, and gaining fresh perspectives to craft integrated, sustainable solutions. ๐ŸŒฟ
