Neem mensen mee. Laat van je horen.

‼️Stop the War Fever‼️
🇬🇧 The Netherlands is being dragged further and further down a path of militarization, armament, and war. Billions are being funneled into defense while social services are under pressure, and further escalation is being presented as inevitable.
We refuse to accept this.
On Sunday, September 27, we’ll gather at Dam Square in Amsterdam for a large nationwide protest. For peace, de-escalation, and a different political course.

Come to Dam Square. Bring some friends. Make your voice heard.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 As the Groningen Student Union, we have signed the “Stop the War Fever” manifesto.
Because ever-increasing militarization is not the answer to today’s crises. Because security cannot be built through a permanent arms race. And because we refuse to sacrifice our future to war.
That is why we will be at Dam Square in Amsterdam on Sunday, September 27.
Join us.

🇬🇧 LAST GMA FOR BOARD 55!
This Wednesday, the 2nd of September, we will be holding our first GMA of the year— and the last GMA held by Board 55 :( The GMA will be held at the SP building at Nieuwe Boteringestraat 74, with walk-in starting at 19:30!

At this GMA, we will be looking over our Secretarial and Financial Half-Year Reports, decharge and propose several vital committees, and, perhaps most excitingly, handle the transition between Board 55 and the (candidate) Board 56.

Make sure to attend in order to say goodbye to the outgoing Board 55 and welcome Board 56 to their first experiences as official Board of the Union!
