Leiden Remote Teaching Prize

Every year, the Leiden University Studentenplatform (LUS) presents the Leiden Teaching Prize for the best teacher of that year. This year has, however, has been unlike any other and required quick adaptation from everyone. Teachers were forced to quickly change their curriculum, teaching methods and assignments in order to make it online-friendly. Therefore it is logical that these teachers deserve to be put in the spotlight 🙂
That is why this year there is the Leiden Remote Teaching Prize: an award for the teacher that is the best and most creative at giving his or her classes from afar. For example, using new online methods, changing their whole curriculum on short notice, managing to create engaging online classes or simply being extremely good at teaching are examples of what would make a teacher eligible for this prize.
Every student is eligible to nominate someone via a simple form. During the opening of the academic year in September, the top three teachers will be centre stage! The winner receives € 25.000,- for the improvement of education. The runner ups both win € 2.500,-.
Do you know that one teacher that deserves this award? Nominate him or her via: www.rebrand.ly/remoteteaching Deadline: May 24th.
