Ramadan komt eraan en op 19 februari om 18:00 organiseren Sheherazade, TFLS, Pleyte en Mugusa samen een iftar diner bij Oost-Afrikaans eethuis Djebena in Leiden (Noordeinde 21).
Een avond met traditionele Oost-Afrikaanse gerechten in een ontspannen setting, waar het leuk is om studenten van verschillende studies en verenigingen te spreken.
Vooraf is er mogelijk een korte lezing ter verdieping.

💸 Prijs: 20 euro, exclusief drinken

Ramadan is approaching, and on February 19 at 6 p.m., Sheherazade, TFLS, Pleyte, and Mugusa are jointly organizing an iftar dinner at the East African restaurant Djebena in Leiden (Noordeinde 21).
An evening of traditional East African cuisine in a relaxed setting, where you can enjoy talking to students from different study programs and associations.
There may be a short lecture beforehand to provide some background information.

De jaarlijkse Sheherazade trip naar de regio komt er weer aan! Afgelopen dinsdag hebben we een gezellige chai georganiseerd waar de bestemming van dit jaar werd bekend gemaakt. Van 25 januari t/m 1 februari gaan we naar Jordanië! 🇯🇴

Het is bijna oktober en dus tijd voor een terugblik op september. We kijken terug op een gezellige en succesvolle eerste maand. De eerstejaars lunch en openings-chai waren een groot succes! Het was een gezellige middag en de opkomst was hoger dan verwacht. Tijdens de ALV wisselde het 41e bestuur om met het 42e bestuur, waar we daarna samen op proosten. Al met al was het een gezellige maand, iedereen bedankt voor jullie aanwezigheid💙We zien ernaar uit om jullie in oktober weer te zien, stay tuned voor de planning er komen leuke activiteiten aan!

As September is coming to an end it is time to look back. We look back at a successful and fun first month. The first year lunch and opening chai were a great success. We had an amazing afternoon thank you all for coming💙 During the general assembly the 41st and 42nd board of Sheherazade changed, after which we toasted on the new board. Nu de ALV alweer een paar dagen achter ons ligt en het stokje officieel is overgedragen, mogen wij ons met trots het 42e bestuur van Sheherazade noemen!

We zijn het vorige bestuur ontzettend dankbaar en kijken uit naar een nieuw jaar vol leuke activiteiten en weer een prachtige reis. Wij hopen dit alles samen met jullie te mogen beleven. Op naar een fantastisch jaar!

Kom 16 september gezellig langs bij de eerste activiteit van dit jaar!
De middag begint om 13.00 voor alle eerstejaars bachelor en master studenten Midden-Oostenstudies met een lekkere lunch en een leuke quiz. Vanaf 15.00 zijn alle leden welkom om aan te sluiten voor een gezellige chai-middag met lekkere hapjes en drankjes.

Dear members,

The end of the academic year is fast approaching, and with that also the board year of the 41st board of L.S.V. Sheherazade. Boudewijn, Mariëlle and Rayvano have, with great pleasure, represented our association throughout the university and at social gatherings, and contributed to the organization of multiple successful events and a fantastic trip to Azerbaijan.

To safeguard the continued existence of our association, we are looking for four devoted and ambitious members who, with the necessary amount of enthusiasm, are prepared to succeed us. It is therefore, from now until the 8th of July, possible to apply for one of the available positions on the board: president, secretary, treasurer and commissioner of internal affairs though our sign up form in our bio.

We are always happy to address any questions or doubts you might have.
