This year it will take place at Leiden University in the Van Steenis building, on the 6th of April 2018. DUSANE is an annual symposium which aims to bring scholars together, to enhance the scientific-archaeological, philological and historical work with a focus on the Near East and to bring this work to the attention of the wider academic community. We aim to exchange information among project dir
ectors, students and all those who are interested in research in the Near East. Our speakers include directors of current archaeological research projects, Assyriologists, Hittitologist, Egyptologists and material specialists. DUSANE is organized by staff members and students from the Faculty of Archaeology and the Department of Languages and Cultures of Mesopotamia and Anatolia, Leiden University, the Netherlands.
